Welcome to

1. Registration: Enter a valid email and choose a password and nickname.
   Username (nickname): English letters and numbers only (up to 12 characters).
   Password: English letters and numbers only (6-10 characters).
2. Login for existing users: Go to the homepage, click on "Existing User", enter: username (nickname) and your password, and click Login.
   If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password", a temporary password will be sent to the email account you set up when registering on the site.
3. Language selection: When first entering the site, you will be shown a language selection screen. Choose between Hebrew or English. You can change the language later in the profile settings.
4. Update user profile: After logging in, a profile icon (avatar) will appear in the top navigation bar. Clicking on the icon will allow you to choose which data you want to update.
5. Add new recipes: On the add new recipe page, fill in the details of the new recipe and click the "Save" button. The recipe will be saved and will appear in your recipe book.
   You have the option to add a recipe to your recipe book by saving a link to a recipe you found online, or alternatively saving your own personal recipe. Your recipe book is personal and private, and other users on the site cannot see it.
   When choosing a name for a recipe, you can add additional words, which will allow you to find the recipe in the future. For example: Grandma Katie's chocolate cookies.
6. Selecting categories: When adding a recipe, you will see a list of fixed categories (for example: chicken, fish, dessert, gluten-free, etc.). Associating categories with each recipe will help you find it in the future.
   Categories can be sorted by topic groups or alphabetically.
   Mark the relevant categories for the recipe (you can mark multiple categories) by clicking. Selected categories will be in blue. Clicking again will cancel the category association with the recipe.
   You can also create personal categories, which you can associate with your recipes.
   Examples: "Recipes that Bar loves", "Friday dinner recipes", "Quick recipes"
7. Deleting personal categories: Clicking on "Delete Personal Categories" on the new recipe page will open a window with a list of all your personal categories. Mark the categories you want to delete (you can mark multiple categories) and click "Delete".
   The deleted categories will be removed from all recipes that were associated with them (deleting a personal category does not delete the recipes themselves).
8. Searching for a recipe in the recipe book:
   Free search: At the top of the page there is a search field. Enter a word or phrase to search.
   The search will be performed in the recipe name and notes.
   Results will be updated in real time as you type, and relevant recipes will be displayed.
   Click "Clear Search" to reset the search.
9. Search by categories: Below the search field there is a list of categories.
   Click on a category to filter the recipes. The category you selected will appear in blue.
   You can mark multiple categories - the recipes that will be displayed are those that have at least one of the selected categories (OR logic).
   Click again on a category to cancel its filtering.
10. Opening a recipe: Clicking the "Open Recipe" button will open a text window displaying the recipe you saved. Clicking the "Open Link" button will open the recipe link in a separate window.
11. Copying a recipe: Personal recipes: Click "Copy Recipe" to copy the recipe content.
    Link recipes: Click "Copy Link" to copy the recipe link.
    The link or content will be copied to your clipboard and a "Copied!" message will appear for confirmation.
12. Sorting recipes: In the recipe book, you can sort your recipes and arrange them according to criteria:
    Name (A-Z): Alphabetical sorting by recipe name (A-Z).
    Name (Z-A): Reverse alphabetical sorting (Z-A).
    Date (new to old): Recently added recipes will appear first.
    Date (old to new): Previously added recipes will appear first.
    Publication source: Sorting by source name or website.
    Category: Sorting by recipe categories.
13. Deleting a recipe: In the recipe book, find the recipe you want to delete, click the "Delete" button.
    A confirmation message will appear: "Are you sure you want to delete the recipe?"
    Click "OK" to delete the recipe or click "Cancel" to cancel the deletion.
    The recipe will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered!
14. The Lounge: The Lounge is the only page on the site that is open to all visitors.
    In the Lounge you will find the ranking of the leading members on the site (the ranking is based on the number of recipes uploaded by users to the site).
    In the Lounge you will also find recipes that Matcon Book members chose to publish and share. Publishing a recipe is done by clicking the "Publish" button on your recipe card (only link recipes (Link Recipes) can be shared).
    Also, requests from other visitors to receive recipe recommendations will be displayed, which you can respond to and recommend a link to a relevant recipe. A visitor's request to receive a recipe is made through the "New Recipe" page.
    The notices will be published on the notice board for a limited period.
15. Conversion calculators: For your use, various calculators that allow converting ingredient quantities to weight/volume, conversion between different volume units, weight conversion, and temperature conversion.
16. Logout: Click the "Logout" button in the top navigation bar, you will be disconnected from the site and redirected to the login screen.
17. For your information, the mobile version of the site does not include all features.
18. Registration to the site means that you have read, understood and agreed to all the terms of use and privacy policy of the site.
